In primary mathematics education, an error is a teaching opportunity for the teacher, since when they realize that the students have not reached the correct solution to the problem; You can, then, design strategies that allow students to overcome the error. However, this is possible only if the error has already been described. This work describes the mistakes made by 5th grade students during work with additive problems of verbal enunciation about fractions. A total of 14 types of errors were found in the grouping problems, of these 13 are committed in aggregation problems.
