This study studies the generation and quantification of dangerous residues in 13 areas of the Rubén Darío University Campus of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-Managua). Also, the risk to the human and environmental surroundings is evaluated to design the Plan of Integral Management of Dangerous Residues. The characterization, allowed to calculate of the PPC of the university population user of the facilities, with an average value of 0.017 Kg/inhabitant/day, and an average density of 111 Kg / m3. It was reported that 97% of the total residues generated are classified as Infectious Biological residues, and 3% as dangerous Chemical residues.
