Abstract

This study presents a hermeneutical and Christian vision of the story of Steps The poor angel. Its structure highlights several intertexts presented through an indicative generating culture, whose main figure is Christ. The mysterious being, the angel, seeks to be human and ground at the same time, but his divine condition is questioned from the studies of Lévi Strauss, Greimas, Muñoz and Kristeva regarding the position of text, context and hypertext. The angel is established as a subject of enunciation, a poor Christ and a messenger angel misunderstood by a greedy society
