This article addresses metafiction in a corpus of regional poetry in terms of the presentation of referential configurations. The analysis includes the interpretation of each of these metaliterary reconstructions, as well as the establishment of the function that the poetic voice wants to give to each reworking. It is determined that there are reconfigurations of figures in the field of global intellectual culture who are criticized or praised in different ways, while dialogues are established with their ideological proposals, either to criticize or assume them.
