The training of historians in Nicaragua dates back to the 1990s, when research and training were incorporated as fields of action of the professional profile in History. The writing is aimed at exposing the experience of professional practices of the History degree at UNAN-Managua as a training process that allows the practicing student to experience a work environment in order to strengthen their skills and abilities. In the same way, the research seeks to demonstrate the reciprocity that exists between the university-society by promoting an academic education committed to the local development of each social space, in this sense, professional practices influence the future professional to strengthen their social consciousness. and sense of belonging. Among the main methods used, the logical history stands out in order to present each of the stages of the professional internship process with sequence and connection. Another determining method is analysis and synthesis, which made it possible to explain all the elements, areas, causality and connections that build the society-university link. The photographs and oral sources that captured the individual and collective visions and opinions of those involved are extremely useful. In this sense, the practice reports of the protagonists, those responsible for the center and tutor teachers were undoubtedly substantial inputs that allowed the reconstruction of each of the stages experienced.
