Implementation of the curriculum to develop competences in the UNAN-Managua 2023 careers

In a continuous improvement in the implementation of the curriculum to develop competencies in the UNAN-Managua courses, it is pertinent to reflect on the process of curricular transformation which seeks to identify achievements, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement based on experiences, learning and good practices experienced by the key actors responsible for implementing the process.
This study is based on a descriptive, retrospective and transversal research that explores the management of the execution of the model to develop competencies at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, Managua (UNAN-Managua) from the perspectives of different protagonists: deans, directors at the central level and departments. Based on these reflections, they lead to an action plan that ensures the continuity of the curricular transformation process for the development of competencies with greater quality and relevance that guarantee effective development of the process for the benefit of students, academics, institution and society.
