Educational innovation in the English translation class

Abstract

The students at any level always wonder “How this subject will help me?” “What the knowledge of this subject is for?. The students always ask themselves these questions and the teachers should answer them let them know by means of innovative ideas why they should that knowledge in each one of the subject of the curriculum.

The students from fifth year of the English major from Saturday program are studying the English translation techniques in the second semester 2013. They are implementing a new innovative idea with the collaboration of their professor, MSc. Alicia Idiaquez, and MSc. Sara Hoch who is a Peace Corps volunteer in this faculty to put the acquired knowledge in class to the service of the educational community from FAREM-Carazo and to the audience who are English readers.
