Editorial policies

» RECEPTION, SELECTION AND APPROVAL OF ARTICLES

The reception of articles is always open and approved articles will be scheduled for publication in accordance with what is established by the Editorial Board of the Journal.

Submissions of writings: The author who wishes to send writings to apply for evaluation and publication must do so by email to revis.torreon.faremc@unan.edu.ni or to the alternative email torreonuniversitario@hotmail.com

Authors who wish to submit writings to submit them for evaluation must consider the guidelines for submitting writings.

Types of writings: see Author guide and guidelines

Nomination of more than one article by the same author. When a person sends more than one article to submit for evaluation, if approved, each one will be published in different publications (numbers).

Responsibility. The content of the writings to be published is the exclusive responsibility of their author, since the magazine does not necessarily share the ideas, opinions and statements raised in the article.

Letter of originality and transfer of copyright: Authors who send writings to apply for evaluation must fill out and sign the letter of originality and transfer of copyright.

Procedure for the selection and approval of articles: All works will be submitted to the judging process with the external peer review system, with the double-blind peer review modality, which implies that the experts do not know the identity of the author. or authors of the work, nor vice versa. When the article is assigned for ruling, the arbitration process will last a minimum of one month.

Selection of reviewers: The reviewers must be experts in the topic addressed by the writing, of recognized academic prestige, and must have experience in research and articles published in scientific journals.

The reviewers will evaluate the writing according to the following article evaluation parameters (which provides transparency to the review process), and the Editorial Board of the journal will verify that the writing complies with the requirements of the Guide for authors and guidelines that are requested in the instructions to authors.

The reviewers must submit their assessment using the ruling format, issuing one of the following rulings:

1. Publishable without modifications.
2. Publishable with basic modifications: the author must apply recommendations indicated by the evaluators to the article.
3. Publishable with basic modifications and some structural modifications: the author must make adjustments indicated by the evaluators; and probably by Editorial Board.
4. Not publishable.

 

• If the opinion of the article recommends some corrections, the author will be responsible for applying such recommendations within the period established by the Editorial Board (generally two weeks, business days), and must send the writing again to the email of the journal revis. torreon.faremc@unan.edu.ni. If you do not deliver it within the established time, the article will be published in the next scheduled issue.
• When the author resubmits the article with the recommendations applied, the writing will be verified by the evaluators and the Editorial Board; If necessary, it will be sent again to the author until the writing meets the requirements and is refined.

Once the article is verified ready, the Editorial Board will notify the author of the acceptance of the writing and its publication date according to schedule.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research contributes to greater global exchange of knowledge.
