Labor Reality of Communication Graduates and the Competencies Demanded by the Job Market

The primary aim of this article is to explore the challenges communicators face in the labor market and to assess how Higher Education Institutions are addressing the competencies demanded by industry. The study employed a documentary review methodology, facilitating dialogue, reflection, and the discussion of ideas and concepts extensively debated by scholars. The article concludes that it is essential for graduates to adapt to evolving labor market needs, invest in ongoing, specialized training, and ensure the alignment and updating of academic curricula.
