Abstract

This is a meta-analysis and systemic review investigation in psychological support for disaster victims, with the objective of presenting a local care model. In psychological disaster response, there are four response phases: precritical, preimpact, postimpact, and recovery after the first month. There were 52 systematic reviews or meta-analyzes of which 4 were in English, 27 were selected to be completely reviewed. It is proposed to organize the early response into 5 levels of care: Diffusion-Early Warning, Social Support, General Medical Management, General Psychiatric Management, General Psychological and Psychiatric Management. The above, to be applied according to local culture and everything related to the daily life of the inhabitants of the place affected by the disaster.
