IMPORTANCE OF THE INVESTIGATION IN COLLEGE EDUCATION

Abstract

This essay highlights the importance of research at the higher level, since it is an essential element for the generation of knowledge within the teaching-learning process. This component contributes to the development of the country and society in general, so that educational institutions redefine their actions with the actors involved in the educational task to train professionals with ideas to investigate, discover and innovate, which will allow changes to be generated for them and their environment. It addresses the concept of research, scientific research, importance of research, followed by a brief analysis of research in higher education specifically in the Regional Multidisciplinary Faculty of Estelí (FAREM Estelí) and the role played by the main authors: student-teachers.
