Revista Lengua y Literatura

The special edition of the journal Lengua y Literatura (Language and Literature) presents the scholarly work of the participants in the first Scientific Congress on Education: “Exchange of Knowledge and Experiences for the Full Human Development of the Individual, the Family, and the Community,” held in honor of Commander Carlos Fonseca Amador, Father of the Sandinista Revolution. This event was organized by the Department of Education, Arts, and Humanities at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, Managua. The sections correspond to the following thematic areas: lifelong learning; educational systems, their challenges and perspectives; successful experiences in school, community, and intersectoral contexts; civic education as a challenge for contemporary society; teacher training and professional development; management and quality in education; learning assessment and educational inclusion; and examples of best practices. Readers will find up-to-date and relevant information, reflecting the intellectual commitment of university professors who share their academic work with society.
