Independence, bicentennial? Between them they were changed, it is the title of the essay that, in the subsequent pages, tries to answer if there really was a process of independence and therefore this year 2021 we celebrate the bicentennial of Central American independence. The discussion is conveyed through some historical milestones, among which the religious phenomenon stands out. So let this small contribution be an inspiration for other writers who pay for these discussions.
