The text presents sketched details of the literary and scientific works of two great scientists who dedicated their professional career to documenting the culture, origins, native peoples and Nicaraguan toponimies. Parents of the studies of the Caribbean culture and Nicaraguan toponimies. This 2019, the Department of Anthropology of the UNAN-Managua is dedicating the XII Central American Congress of Anthropology, of the Central American Network of Anthropology to these two famous scientists.
