Towards a sustainable solution: O-Tek in the Mexican Market

Abstract

The Latin American company O-Tek has been present in the Latin American market for 26 years, with state-of-the-art technology in the manufacture of pipes and posts. Likewise, it allows new infrastructure solutions. Mexico is one of the main countries in which the company carries out its engineering and consultancy operations for transformation and change, with projects that provide long-term sustainability. The needs of countries like Mexico, give entry to these new companies that can strengthen the rough terrain that is experienced.

Today's world is facing faster changes that shock consumers and their ways of consumption, which is why companies have the responsibility to evolve around the impact that they can cause, both socially and environmentally. Without leaving aside, the way in which each company can use its characteristics to face a new market. Therefore, this article intends to demonstrate the influence of O-Tek and its commitment to a sustainable infrastructure, and at the same time, analyzes through qualitative research, through data collection and bibliographic studies, the way in which influences the economic and social improvement of Mexico.

Taking into account that each event in the environment can cause a change in the way of negotiation, both for countries and companies. Likewise, current regulations and the possibility of entering favorable markets may be affected. For this reason, understanding the growth that O-Tek has had and the expansion in three of the most important countries in Latin America and Central America, leads to studying the way the company proceeds and its negotiating force.

In general terms, O-Tek is a company that has the tools and the capacity to supply the entire Mexican territory. It should be noted that O-Tek has selected Mexico as one of the countries to have its new plants, positioned in Aguascalientes with a productive capacity that covers 250 kilometers of pipeline per year.
