Abstract

This article shows the achievements of UNAN-Managua in the participation of national and international competitions in innovation and entrepreneurship during 2022; year where the innovation indicators proposed in the Institutional Annual Operating Plan of 2022 are achieved. It describes the most outstanding competencies and the activities carried out so that the students, together with the mentor teachers and the accompaniment obtained by the Innovation Department.

In addition, the prizes obtained in said competitions are addressed where the incentives have served for the development of solutions, contributing to training processes for the development of the ideas proposed in the competitions. The document mentions how the competencies are linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the National Plan to Fight Poverty and for Human Development 2022 - 2026 of Nicaragua (PNLCP-DH). Those innovative skills that strengthen the competitiveness of UNAN-Managua students in the world of work are also highlighted.
