Ethnography is aided by different disciplines of the social sciences and re-adapted to an anthropological approach, with the main objective of going beyond the classic standards of interviews and observation (Ruiz Chow, 2019, p. 67) of so that it is specifically designed so that the protagonists are included and assume a participatory role in the investigation, being themselves the ones who build and interpret the social phenomena in their contexts, taking into account that violence takes on different meanings and expressions according to the cultural context in which we enter as social researchers. It is for this reason that, transdisciplinary ethnography becomes a key method to address issues such as violence, where the researcher requires creative strategies to face different situations, interpretations and possible narratives in the contexts where it flows. This article aims to detail the different techniques applied in 3 different contexts and moments of work: Barrio Hilario Sánchez, Villa Guadalupe and Training Center Youth.
