Abstract

This document supports the guidelines to achieve an educational transformation with the support of educational software, for it requires first a change in education, so that it is equal to the needs of society, for this a brief study of the requirements that adjust to the new needs of society, ranging from a change in the culture of teachers, in which it must change the vision of the meaning of their profession. Emphasis is placed on the creation of more pleasant educational environments for the teaching-learning process, such as interactive, ludic, creative and collaborative environments; which would greatly facilitate the use of a new learning methodology, leaving behind traditional teaching. For the creation of these environments, the technology turns out to be a significant support if it is integrated in a responsible way in the teaching-learning process. Finally, a tour through the main theories of learning and its most relevant authors, this is to establish the way in which their conceptions have influenced and influence the design processes and application situations of educational software.
