Abstract

The article called Social Innovation Model in the Las Nubes #3 Agrotourism Cooperative,  Matagalpa, Nicaragua, aims to describe the  practice of rural community tourism as a model of social innovation in the Las Nubes #3 Agrotourism Cooperative, located in the same community, in  the department of Matagalpa, Nicaragua.This  research has a qualitative, descriptive cross- sectional approach, putting into practice part of  the 360 Model. For the development of this, a field visit was made to the Las Nubes #3 Agrotourism  Cooperative, using tools for collecting information from primary sources, such as: surveys, interviews and focus groups. As well as the consultation of  secondary sources, including scientific articles,  specialized studies and research related to the  subject. Sources that were very useful to identify  basic elements on the conceptualization of social  innovation, creative economy, rural and  community tourism and the 360° Model.Similarly,  this article describes the process of social  innovation based on the use of local resources, in  this case the wild blackberry, a native fruit of the  community whose properties allow its cultivation,  transformation, value addition and  commercialization. As well as the potential of the  community in the field of tourism, through tours  on blackberry cultivation, the cultural promotion  of the community and its local heritage.
