Abstract

Fagopyrum esculentum is one of the most important and energetically valuable food crops in Russia. The chemical composition and balance of nutrients can be attributed to the valuable dietary dishes that can be used in the treatment of many common diseases in Central America. The experiments carried out in 2013-2017 in the Republic of Nicaragua provide the basis on the feasibility of cultivation and thus carry out production tests of this crop to determine the economic efficiency of industrial-scale buckwheat cultivation for its introduction into the diet of the population.
