Conceptual, theoretical, and practical approach to ecosystem services

This essay makes a conceptual approach to ecosystem services, the theories that have been analyzed around the subject, as well as in practice what has been their implementation and development in ecosystems. Ecosystem services are the most important part of the natural capital that a community has. However, in modern history the concept of ecosystem services has its origins in the environmental movement that began to develop in the 1960s and 1970s, as a result of the problems derived from pollution, deforestation of forests, depletion of the ozone layer, and climate change. These are limited by the effects of climate change. The northern part of the country is no exception and specifically the Miraflor-Estelí area, changes in rainfall patterns, associated with poor agricultural practices, loss of fertility, moisture retention, poorly implemented practices, low yields.
